Andy LaForge
Andy is the Director of Development at BOARDWORKS GEAR LAB, a pioneering startup in the field of ski and snowboard tools and accessories. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in tuning and repairing skis and snowboards, he humbly acknowledges that he's "still learning."
Andy's journey in skiing began in the late 1970s, and it has remained a lifelong passion. He fondly recalls those earlier days when skiers had to maintain their own equipment, tinkering with bindings through trial and error and meticulously fixing segmented edges. Some of the innovative products that BOARDWORKS is introducing to the market are ideas that have been brewing in Andy's mind since those early days.
Beyond the world of winter sports, Andy finds solace in recreational kayaking, camping, and hiking. His interests and adventures outside the office are a testament to his love for the outdoors and his unending curiosity.
